Default Cheap digital scales without "auto off"

Hi again guys, want to pick up a set of fairly accurate consumer grade digital scales but it seems a lot of them have an auto off feature and/or other issues that would make them ineffective for corner weighting and so forth.. any you could recommend?

Ha, we just gonna reply to you with what I use.... then I noticed who it was. You're getting a set of scales with the car, FYI . Although considering you didn't know that... somewhat tempting to pull them out fo the ad... but fair's fair.

Anyways, for others who aren't already getting a set given to them... I highly recommend these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001AKV422

They're accurate within 0.1lb scale to scale in my testing - and they always read within a lb or two of the SCCA's "official" scales at events.

They are auto-off... but only if the weight doesn't change for something like 5-10 minutes. In practice they stay on full time when you have the car on there since weights are constantly shifting. They also don't "freeze" the weight, so you can make adjustments and see the results in real time. The displays being on cables is also nice, as some with the display built into the scale surface can have issues with the tire covering the display.

The Pelouze 400 lb postal scales have a hack that you can find to defeat auto off. I used to know how to do it but I forget.

    Haha, thanks Scott

I posted this considering our original timeline but now that things are moving forward a bit quicker I can certainly hold off. This will be good Google information that someone will surely come across one day.

    Appreciate the replies!
