    Default Low Rev alternator

What is the preferred low rev alternator (smallest size) to fit a 4AG?

    Default Curious Too...

I have used the small 50A Denso unit successfully. Inexpensive, and reliable. Any one know the power output of the tractor style unit fitted on most 008/014's??

Time to call Hasselgren...He'd know the details on the Kubota unit. I also heard that the Denso unit is a "one wire" set-up, i.e. connect to the battery and that is it.

We have a Denso one-wire on our Ralt...works good, lasts long time.

I'll measure it when I get to the shop, Val, but I'm guessing 3-4".

Thanks Val...got the PM. The crank pulley looks about 2.5" OD, but is not readily accessible, and the alternator pulley is 4.5" OD.
