A single driver is not required to race in both races at a Majors event, so it seems to me that you could enter 2 drivers in the same car in the same class on a majors weekend.
Thoughts on this from someone whe knows the deal?

Isn't that what JRO and John Paul did last weekend at Sebring?

Since the fastest time from any qualifying session can set the grid for both races, the only issue is making sure the correct qualifying time is used for the driver in the car for each race. As long as T&S knows which driver is in the car for each session they should be able to handle it.

We gave officials prior notice of our intentions and got the OK. They had no issue separating qualifying times. JR qualified for Saturday's race Friday morning and I qualified for Sunday in the afternoon. They only thing a little hairy was that fast lap in Saturday's race was a "second qualifying" for Sunday. So for us we only got one qualifying session each. T&S had no problems keeping everything in order. They did a great job!
