Merry Christmas,2013 to my Openwheel Friends
Since it is not possible to send an individual Christmas card to everyone who reads and comments on ApexSpeed.com, this video is my way of saying “I want to wish each and everyone of you a very Merry Christmas, and a prosperous 2014.”
As a footnote, the back ground music is titled “Sawnee Christmas March” and was a piece commissioned this year by the Sounds of Sawnee Community Concert Band which I am privileged to be a member of. This recording (non-professional) was done at one of our two sold out Christmas concerts last week at a playhouse in the Atlanta suburb of Cumming, appropriately nestled at the foot of Sawnee Mountain and where the Bowes reside. While the three carols (1) Jesus, Born in Bethlehem (2) The Shepherd’s Star (3) The Babe of Bethlehem may not sound familiar, they are very traditional Christmas carols originally scored for chorale and “re-composed” for our band in an instrumental setting. Enjoy! It’s OK to clap with the audience at the end!(AND, a B-I-G thanks to my good F1000/FB friends Glenn Cooper and Jake Latham for a bit of "humor" to the montage!
