Default This Years Schedule for Laguna

The SF Region has scheduled some race weekend at Laguna Seca. Here are the dates.

March 28-30 Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca Double Regional

June 5 Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca Test Day
June 6-8 Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca Festival Double Regional**

September 12-14 Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca Double Regional

** From Club Racing on 11/26/13: The June 6-8 event at MRLS is a Festival and points earned by Runoffs-eligible classes count for Nationwide points only (which can be used to meet the “50%” requirement needed to earn a Runoffs invitation). The weekend does not count towards Western Conference championships (which count the best eight finishes of the twelve WC Majors races) so they would not count toward finishing in the top ten in class for the conference. The event also does not count toward satisfying the “three Majors events” participation requirement.

Those that intend to go to the Runoff this year, should try to attend one of these.

Funny, because there aren't any more regional races.

    Jeff,

Not true, the name(s) has changed (again) due to confusion.

We have Majors and Regionals (for the most part). If you look at the NE Div schedule:

    http://nediv.com/nediv-info/tentativ...nediv-schedule

you'll see three categories, Majors, Divisional Champ series (regional "series") and straight out Regionals (no series).

Then someone needs to figure what they're calling what because nobody seems to know.
