    Default #1 ADF for Sale

    Car is sold. Thanks. Neil

Peter Nosler's ADF is back on the market after sale fell though. This is the #1 chassis that won the runoffs first time out. Same car that was at the FF Festival in 2009. This car has had a compete ground up from bare frame. Has original style bodywork which was only used on the first two cars. Rules change required the cock-pit opening to be enlarged on later cars. Ownership history is as follows:
#1 - ADF company - Bob Earl - Runoffs winner
#2 - Dave Pace or Dave Parke (not sure - one or the other)
    #3 - Jhuan Carlos Bolonios
    #4 - Nancy James
#5 - Steve Anderson - Mike Hull, who worked for Steve Anderson, purchased car for Steve
    #5 - Steve Hosletler - Airline pilot 1982
#6 - Jerry Pacheco - Sandy Dells brokered sale from Steve to Jerry
    #7 - Gary OBrian - Collected 5 ADF's before passing away
    #8 - Peter Nosler - Current owner

The list below will give you an idea of the restoration work done on this car.

*New powder paint on frame - frame checked for any damage.
*All new brake disks, lines, and master cylinders.
*Calipers replated and new pistons and seals
*All new bearings in uprights and suspension
*New steel bodied double adjustable Koni shocks
*Rebuilt transaxle with new ring and pinion
    *New front brake half shafts
    *New Fuel Cell
*Loyning engine with one race weekend
    *New paint
    Etc, etc, etc

Car comes with new Panasport Ultralite wheels and one set of unrestored original LeGrand wheels.

Car currently has Mk II front uprights installed - Includes pair of Mk I front uprights.
    Spare nose

    Asking Price - $30,000.00

That is just such an amazing car. The engineering, design and workmanship make my '74 Lola look archaic. It's a beautiful car inside and out with amazing history as a runoff's winner and the forerunner of the dominant DB-1. Maybe I should buy some lottery tickets...

    Default ADF's

I believe he owns one but I do not know if he owns two. That car was in my shop at one time but I do not know the chassis number. It is easy to tell the early cars from later production cars by the roll hoop. Original cars built by ADF had a roll hoop that had bends in the leg of the hoop before it attached to the frame. Later cars had a single bend at the top of the hoop and the legs went straight into the top frame rail. Look closely at the pictures I posted. I do have two other ADF's for sale. These are restoration projects. We had six of these cars in our shop a few years ago.
    #1, #2, #4, #7, #11, and #12.
