Anyone have any data for a competitive vintage FF lap of the speed of fastest and slowest points of a lap at lime rock in mph? Where are those points? What's the speed of the most important corner at LR and which one is that?
Thanks!

That's one thing about LRP, .. there really is no "most important" corner. I could find a reason for every corner being the most important. But then again, I don't drive an FF car
My minimum speed on a 57.9 second lap was 69 mph, max speed 120 mph. Best I've done in a draft is 124 mph at the end of the front straight, so gear accordingly.
This is in a Kent powered Crossle 30F on Hoosier R60's.
Hope this helps.

Great info will. Would still like to hear for someone running dunlop threaded tires.
I'm curious about this thread. What information is gained by the question and how will it be applied to your approach to the track?
I've seen several different gearing suggestions, but nothing very definitive. I can check some configurations and do some of my own figuring given my gear inventory if I know the speed range at the track. I guess I didn't realize it was so fast for such a short track. Can't wait to try it out at the Labor Day historics.
It's a fast track..average speeds in the 90's depending how fast you are for a FF.

Greg... my guess... speeds provide basis for gear ratios to power band. Tire size part of same equation & to speed in turns...

Thanks. Good to learn from the open wheel guys, because these are things that the tin tops don't ask about really.
Well, then I quessed wrong
