    Default Threaded Studs

    Hi,

I'm restoring my 1989 DB3 and there are a few places that I would like to replace the studs. I'd be looking for studs that are UNC at one end and UNF at the other and made from a high tensile steel. I thought McMaster Carr or Aircraft Spruce might have a selection but it seems not.

Does anyone know of any fastener company that a selection of standard studs?

    Thanks,

    Ian

    Default Studs

ARP has some that are listed for specific locations in an engine, but I didn't see anything that would work for my needs.

    Default Dorman

    Ian,

Check your local NAPA store for their Dorman rack. I have found a good selection of UNC/UNF combination studs in those places. Another source on the industrial side is Fastenal
