The Formula Ford 2000 National Championship Presented by Speedvision has announced that it is going to provide coverage of selected classes at the prestigious SCCA Valvoline Runoffs.

Beginning with qualifying on Tuesday, September 18, 2001, Formula Ford 2000 will be providing coverage of the Formula Continental (FC), Formula Ford (FF) and Spec Racer Ford (SRF) classes at the Runoffs. Held annually at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, the Runoffs is the Olympics of Motorsports, with over 600 amateur racecar drivers vying for a National Championship in 24 different classes. In addition to covering those classes, the Formula Ford 200 National Championship will be hosting a party at the Runoffs for the drivers and crew of those classes, as well as the Formula Mazda class. The party will take place Thursday, September 20 at the series rig, located in the paved paddock area at Mid-Ohio. Festivities will begin after all on-track activities have been completed, approximately 6 p.m.
