Formula S Rules?

While I await a new GCR, does anyone have the current Formula S rules to send me or post?

My Van Diemen FC to CSR conversion is taking so long, I now worry about keeping the license.
So I'll probably keep it simple and finish up the work this year and run in Formula S. I have a Suzuki Hayabusa engine in the RF96.

It's a Divisional/Regional thing. Call one of them. The worst that happens is they make you run in FA.

FS is now a GCR class-see page 123 for details. Biggest thing is each car must be homologated by Denver before a log book can be issued.

I wonder what the process is to get a car homologated. I would think that if the car legally fits in an existing class (like FA), then Denver would not homologate it for FS.

Do you think that Denver would homologate a car in FS if it was something like an FC with an illegal motor? Do you think that Denver would say, "Why not? It meets the safety standards". Or, would they only homologate a car if it was a legitimate "something else" (like a F3, F3000, etc.)?

If you have sports racer full bodywork you would fit in ASR. That class allows almost any kind of engine. Check the GCR. Good luck and have fun! Darrell [img]smile.gif[/img]

Info for all:
The latest SportsCar FastTrack lists the guidelines for Formula S. I also received the homologation paperwork and their requirements from SCCA. My Van Diemen FC with a Hayabusa engine appears to readily fit within the requirements.
