    Default Making a brick aerodynamic

I don't know all the specifics, but i saw this at Sebring.

After extensive fluid dynamic modeling the lads at Dangerous Cargo have developed a better way to make the Go-Pro brick pass through the air.

It is being marketed. You have to talk to them about details.

They should add wings to it so when the mount brakes it will fly away and land softly on the ground rather than shattering after another car runs it over.

But 100% true. The mounts fail with just the weight of the camera. Lots of more aero choices...

It blows me away that the GoPro pres is a FB guy, and the new cameras take spectacular video, but it's still a near impossible to mount brick. I'd guess the automobile motorsports market is small compared to BMX, motocross, jet skis, and all the other action sports.

Still, other folks have figured it out - you'd think the one with the highest sales volume could....

The guys who wingsuit fly have figured out how to mount 3 or 4 Go Pros all over themselves and have them stay on. Their top speed through the air is about 140 MPH.
