    Default COTA Track Damage

Competitors were responsible for such track damage.

How is damage cost assigned when more than one car is involved?
Is the competitor responsible for the accident then responsible for all the damage repair? Must the stewards formally assign responsibility?

All of us competitors got an e-mail before the event from Jeff Dahnert saying that track damage was covered under SCCA's competition insurance, and that individual competitors wouldn't be liable.

Assuming I read that right, anyway.

So, don't think it is/was an issue for the individual drivers or the stewards to worry about.
