The weekend brought lots of good news.
Rob Howden is adding two FormulaCar magazine subscriptions to the Road America prize drawing. This new publication is getting great reviews and is quite a nice prize for some lucky FF1600 racer.
Not to be outdone, Joe Marcinski from Moroso Performance Products is offering two sets of custom made sleeved and numbered Moroso Ultra 40 ignition wire sets. Joe will work with the winners to configure the wires to their exact specifications.
Since we all win with 40 or more cars, I've added these four new prizes to the "short" end of the list. Here are all the prizes:
26, FormulaCar magazine, subscription
27, FormulaCar magazine, subscription
28, Moroso Performance Products, ignition wires
29, Moroso Performance Products, ignition wires
30, OPEC, decals (2)

We are already a over 40% of the way towards our goal of 40 cars. Help find the cure for Chicagophobia. Enter early, enter often.
If you need an entry form, Linda Breitenbach is the chief registrar. Linda can be contacted at (773)774-8602 or lbreitenbach@scown.com The entry form can also be downloaded from the Chicago Region website: http://www.scca-chicago.com
The postmark deadline entries is today, Monday August 4. If you are not sure you can make the race, e-mail the registrar with your timing and scoring info. The regions don't try to make money with the late fees. The idea is to discourage too many walkups as it is a pain for timing and scoring to set everyone up Friday night.
I'll do what I can to get late fees waived but there are no promises. If the registrar does not have your T&S info, no chance.
All this plus single race groups for FF/CFF plus lots of seat time on one of the world's best circuits plus Bruce Linstrand's tech talk plus Luxon Printing's fabulous EWC photo gallery posters equals a must weekend of FF1600 racing.
Be there.
