New Wolf GB08 On Display at Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona

We will have the Motorsports Southwest, GB08 on display in the FanZone at Daytona.

The car will be available for from Wednesday January 23 at noon until 4 PM on Sunday January 27.

The display will have people available to show the design and construction of the car and answer any questions including the Director of Race Operations from Wolf Racing Cars.

In addition, Ivan Bellarosa, Wolf Factory driver, will be in the Speedworks DP car in the 24 Hour race as his prize for winning the SpeedEuroSeries in 2012 in Europe.

How did Wolf Racing morph from Formula 1 constructor and team into sports prototype constructor (and team as well?)? The website is cool, but I'd love to know more about how Walter Wolf's company ended up where it is today.

Good question that I am sure I cannot explain very well.

The brand moved to AvelonFormula years ago. I do not know the full story but I will be meeting with the Wolf owners from Italy next week and will try to get a better explanation of the transition.
