    Default Car History...

This chassis was purchased new from Dallara in 1999 by Team ASM, (now called ART) and entered into the French Formula 3 Championship. It was driven by Julien Beltoise, (son of former Formula 1 Matra driver Jean-Pierre Beltoise) for the following 2 seasons.

After the 2000 Formula 3 season the car was warehoused for a year, then was sold to a gentleman racer in 2002 for 2 years of club level racing, then was sold in 2004 to another gentleman racer in France whom owned it for the next 3 years for the same purpose until 2006.

The car then went to its current owner which uses it primarily for hillclimbs and little circuit racing. He had the car re-painted and rebuilt several times during his 6 year tenure. So one professional race team and 3 gentleman racers is the car’s ownership history.

It always had a Renault Sodemo engine and mounting kit, the Fina sponsorship was the 1999 livery, the darker blue and yellow was the 2000 livery as depicted below. Here ASM teammate and former Formula 1 driver Tiago Monteiro battles Julien Beltoise at Zandvoort, Holland.

    Default Price Reduction...

Price lowered by $2,500 for a good, full carbon car. For around $35,000 look at the kind of Formula cars that you can buy! Incredible build quality, stunning performance, and unmatched reliability, all for a cheap price!

    Default Price Reduction...

Great car with a great history and still at a great price! now $32,000. Engine has 2 seasons of running left on it at 800 miles a season. Local Renault engine rebuilder in Quebec, Canada with Alpine America; (http://www.alpine-america.qc.ca/).

Engine parts readily-available from Sodemo Moteurs, (http://www.sodemo.com/) with backup engine parts from K-TEC Racing Ltd, (http://www.k-tecracing.com/) and Xtec Engineering, (http://www.xtecengineering.co.uk/).

No problem with reliability, no problem with parts availability, no problem with engine rebuilds, no more excuses.
