It skeered me...
I had not seen that interview before. Again, Jon was clueless about the cars and the demographics of F1000 when he started this series. It does annoy me to listen to his lies again though.
I wouldn't worry about being sued by Jon. The solution is to tell the truth. I also doubt that he has the money for the lawyers. He took in over $100k, but I believe him when he says that he doesn't have any money.
Wren , your buddy is offering rides now in Grand Am, World Challenge, Continental tire series, and now Trans - Am series class 2 ( which before last nite he didnt know existed) all on facebook for 2013. God help anyone who gives him money.

JD Layson showed a picture of a TA2 car and Lewis was all over it yesterday...
I know that Tony Ave posts on apexspeed some but maybe I will get him an email with the rest of the information that has never made it on apexspeed.
Like the 9 security cameras in and around my shop, I'm always watching...

It's really distressing to see all his constant promoting after the F1000 mess. Maybe he has (or hopes everyone has) short term memory loss.
$235k for the ride also offering a ride in the national class as well for $135k

Will he accept a FedEx box full of cash?
This thread needs more epic burnout.

American Spirit Racing is not listed as one of the teams on the F2000 series website but just to be sure I shot off an email to some of the F2000 management.
After Lewis' ad appeared on the world challenge webpage classifieds I emailed them and his ad went away but I don't know if that had anything to do with my email.
I mentioned in a previous post that I worked for a guy like Jon in the beginning of my career. This guy had some mental disconnect, and they honestly don't think they are doing anything wrong. So they just keep doing the same thing over and over...
Ran into Nicholas Cape the other weekend at PBIR. They were testing a pro F2000 with the new Mazda engine. He new all about Lewis and was doing a little Monday morning quarterbacking on the subject, BUT he was right. BTW, the car they were testing was turning laps over 2 seconds under the FB track record. Don't know who the driver was.
I got into the 17's with used tires. McGlaughlin(SP) Has the track record at 1:16.1(I think). The MZR powered F2000 was turning mid to high 13's. Pretty fast.
Since PBIR is a double this year, does the Florida Region keep track of track records?
Mid Ohio does an excellent job at tracking Regional, National, and Runoffs track records separately and send out a congrats when you set one. It may be good for all regions to adopt this process.
I last ran PBIR at the 09 Nationals with a stock motor in DSR. I think F1000 should be in the 13 or less? Not sure what happened with track records at PBIR events after 2009. Surely the times below have been improved on given times at other tracks have continued to drop year over year.

Getting a little off topic here...
I don't understand how you expect an FB to eclipse the respectable time you ran in a Stohr WF-1 even with a stock motor. That would get you within a second of Mirl Swan's time, who was the fastest Formula Atlantic in the whole world at the time.
FWIW, I ran down three Atlantics(albeit a regional) on John Berget tires, which I consider an accomplishment for my geriactric ass... One race starting from the pits- ask Jim Morgan!
Drinking Brahma beers laying over in Brazil again- have a nice Thanksgiving.
how many HP is that thing? I can't see an FC going anywhere near those times. I think you need to be a pretty quick FA to get to those times (but who knows)
Since there isn't a time from a National front runner it's pretty hard to say but I'd imagine it couldn't be faster than 14's.
what is is....
I stood on the pit wall next to Mr. Cape and watched the lap times. No idea what kind of HP the new engine puts out, but the car was FAST...
Hmmm : New 28' Renegade Air Cond. Trailer
Followed the picture link. For the asking price, looks really nice (too good to be true kind of nice). Googled the eMail noted in the above ad which lead me to ASR...

I can overlook the guy being a liar, a crook, and a sociopath, but I cannot forgive being too dumb to come up with a fresh gmail address for each new scam. That's right up there with hitting the "Like" button on a porn vid while signed into your primary Facebook account.
Gee, I guess that the series *did* have some resources to liquidate. I'm sure that he will use the proceeds to pay everyone that he owes...
Has Wren contacted Renegade yet?
Ken
I contacted Renegade months ago. They told me that the deal was that he was loaned the trailer and was supposed to pay for it at the end of the season.
I wonder if he is trying to sell it to come up with the money to pay it off or to fuel whatever demon blew through the over $100k that he stole from running the F1KCS.
I think my schedule is free enough tomorrow to make another phone call to Renegade. I have the number for the guy who Jon dealt with.
Fellerz got a habit of selling things that don't belong to him...
That trailer looks a bit large for the F1000chump series Suzuki truck to pull.
Motorhome was pulling it at Mosport.
Well, it was only a matter of time...

McMahon Raceworks FB/FA/F??? mothballed for now
It took a lot of time and some effort to get permission to post on the world challenge facebook page. It will be interesting to see how this all works out.
Yeah, they are quite tight about that, but it should not prevent the truth from coming out.

Have Jon's posts to the world challenge Facebook page disappeared for anyone else. I can't see any of them anymore.
Good job Wren. You should add some apexspeed thread links.
he still posts near dailey with his personal facebook page to advertise atleast 5 differnt series he 'has ride for'. Its tough to look at but I left him as a friend so if anyone replies I can maybe help them save some money.
