Also, more wheels may be available (from another source) if you want to complete the 2nd set.

    Default wheels

    Dave,

Sorry to hear you're not going to the runoffs.

How much do these wheels weigh? I might be interested if they aren't on the heavy side compared to OZ or Techno mag rims.

    Thanks,

    Jerry

I'll weigh them tonight. I did that before, but I don't remember the results.

    Default fitment of your wheels

    Dave,

If these were to be changed to fit an RF 97 VD (upright and brakes), how big an operation would this be?

Maybe you've been through the exercise.

    Thanks,

    Chris Crowe

This is a semi-educated guess, but this is what I think:

    1. Wheel spacers might be necessary to clear the calipers, depending on what caliper type you are running.
    2. If spacers need to be utilized, the wheel retainer hats may need modification to handle the extra depth.
    3. Other than that, I would guess they would fit, as long as the drive-pin holes and center hole are the same.

The dimensions I gave are pretty complete, so maybe you can see if those match what will fit on the car in question.

If spacers are used, drive pin engagement will be reduced and the engagement of the center pilot will also be reduced.

Might or might not matter, depending on how much you are left with.

    True, but...
If you attached the spacers under the drive pins (the spacers shouldn't be that thick, anyway), that wouldn't be a problem, since they would be protruding as before. Or, the drive pins could be made slightly longer to assure good engagement.

I am really surprised that someone has not grabbed these up. I have 2 sets as well, but can't use them with the current caliper.

Same here - the fronts won't fit over the Alcons I put on last winter.

Sorry, since I don't know the Carbir's caliper clearance or other dimensional requirements, there is no way for me to tell.
