I just registered. The car held together in it's maiden voyage at the Colorado Tour, so I'm glad to add my name to the list of CM attendees for 2012!

Held together is an under statement given your first in PAX.

Up to 12.. a quick glance shows some missing co-drivers.

51 - Sho you flyin' solo?
(1)74 - Peo Orvendal
(1)89 - Mike Marich
87 - Mark Lamm
88 - ??

Ray Thomas intends to run.

I'd love to see the rest of Indy.. (Larry, Tom, Geoff & Gus, Brent & Steve)

Anyone know if the 47 car of Josh Parker and Ken Hurd plan to attend? (I've been watching the peru tour entries for that car as well..)

I'll be solo this year. I think George and Joey Shilling of So Cal will be running?

My motor is finished and goes back in this weekend. I will be out of town for a few weeks but hope to get a few shakedown runs before Lincoln. I'll be there even if I have to paint a 65 on my head and make engine noises as I run around the course

Hopefully next year I can join in the fun, as the CM car just isn't "done" enough to warrant pulling it 3500 miles to run this year.

I do plan (hope?) to be at Lincoln, but co-drive hasn't been finalized.

Seems to be the story. 87 car broken axle in Lincoln, 2nd gear in Blytheville. 65 car spun bearing.. Good to hear they plan to attend.

Not too much time to mull over. The entry fee will go up to $308 from $158 after 8 am CST 8/10/12. Come on, pull the trigger! You'll have a great time.

Default 65 is alive!

I have good news and bad news. The good news is the 65 car is back in top form. Woot!

The bad news is I broke my elbow 2 weeks ago. It is healing ok, but not well enough to be out of a cast let alone useable by nationals. So scratch one entry

The bright side is I have a year to get ready for Nationals.

I will be watching from far away.

Thanks guys. I am bummed for sure. Gotta look on the bright side, I only broke one arm (at one point it looked like both) and the car is running. Hopefully my planets are now aligned.

I can't wait to see/hear reports from how everything goes. Best of Luck to all of you!

Awesome to see Geiger and Cary on the entry list!

These 2 co-drivers need to get registered before the price goes up!
Ken Hurd
Peo
Brandon, would you find someone to co-drive the 88 car..

Mark, stop asking questions about the course(s) and just register already!

Hey you hold outs unless you are really slow I've got at least one of the "close to last place" positions locked up.

That said, my Nats tires are coming this week, I'm signed up for Nats, the Pro Finale, and the EVO TnT. I figure if we are going to drive 2600 miles round trip to a big concrete parking lot some seat time is required.

Bummer.

My first 4 Nationals (3 from CA and 1 from NC) I drove the competition car to TX or KS. Of course the classes were DS (Datsun 260Z), AS (Lotus), and ASP (Lotus).

Not quite. My Texas Nationals was in 1977 . . . 5 years after the start of Nationals I guess since 2012 is the 40th anniversary. The event was at the old Dallas Ft Worth airport. The trophy is in the shape of Texas. All my other Nationals visits have been to Kansas.

Default Sun, Sept 2nd, 4:00 to 6:00 "Meet and Greet"...

I am planning a “meet and greet” gathering on Sun 4 to 6 (Row 07, Col 15, Space A/B). I will bring a big tub which I will fill with ice. You bring your favorite beverages (i.e. BYOB) and a chair (if you don’t want to stand). I’ll supply some snacks (pretzels, chips, etc.). Invite who you like (noting it’s BYOB).

Looking forward to next Sunday!

It's very nice of you to set up the meet & greet! Keiko & I would love to come. Since we have a T'nT session between 4 and 5, we will be late but definitely be there. We look forward to meeting with all of the CM drivers!

Edit: I just realized that you said Sunday. That's the day we will be arriving. I will try to get there early so that we can join you.

I told Tom about the meet and greet.. He sounded interested in coming and getting to talk to a few of the people. Either way I am planning on making it over (even if it is only to harass Sho).

See you in Lincoln!

We must cancel our trip to Lincoln.... Our dog got bitten by other dog and badly injured. She will be alright but need close attention for the next few days and we just can't leave her with a dog sitter.

Kind of cool that the two fastest cars so far are the oldest and the newest.
