Default ?? Flo-Fast Pump ??

My "new" race car came with what looks like a Flo-Fast fuel pump - no markings, so I don't know what brand it is. Given the filler neck is in the cockpit, it seems like a good idea to use a pump. However, this pump doesn't pump. It's like it need to be primed somehow.

Anybody have experience with these?

George,

Its a positive displacement paddle pump, similar to the the water pump in an outboard or I/O drive. The rubber impeller or the seals may have hardened or worn out. They have seal kits available for $14.

You and send it off to have it rebuilt by the manufacturer too:
