does anyone know how to get rid of the kevlar "fuzzies" that show up around the edges when you bore/grind a hole in a panel that has kevlar reinforcement?
I'll try glue again. mostly it breaks off and leaves the fuzzies behind. I have eleventy-seven different kinds of glue - something in there will have to work.
I have had sucess using a 20 minute cure/ epoxy resin mix. I use a small acid brush and brush on the loose fibers and let it soak in. When the fiber/epoxy are half cured (rubbery) I use a dremal with a new sanding drum. The best way is to avoid making them in the first place. I try to use a cover and backup plates made of PVC scraps and carbite brad point drills. I drill a 1/8 pilot hole to align the plates while clamping then thru drill.
