The car is finally done and ready for the Sovren Historics next weekend!
I didn't get to do a lot with the body, except add the number graphics. The paint is in rough shape and I don't really like the JPS paint scheme, but I had to draw the line at some point to get it done.
The car was originally from California, then went to Colorado, and finally landed in Texas where I bought it a few years ago. Does anyone recognize this paint scheme from Texas?

thanks, I do plan on going back, plus I had a pretty good instructor . Yes, it was looking a little rougher at that race, it's amazing what some polish and a set of decals can do.

yes, the front suspension and bodywork came almost directly from the RP-14 Super Vee while the rear suspension/frame was based on the RP-3 FF.
I wish the upper a-arm was built in two pieces, it would have helped in adjustment/alignment. The upper arms have a large amount of angularity compared to other FFs of the era, the upper ball joint is raised about 1". I will probably also move the roll bar to the 'front' side of the suspension, like many were modified to. This will give me a lot more foot room (the bar crosses right above my toes) and should offer a LOT more adjustment than the current config.
