Guys, the FV community, in the interest of honesty I want to correct the note that Dave Scaler was 'hit by a F500 and FF".
Not really true.
I had a mechanical in the middle of the left hander with my FF, the left rear wheel/tire headed for the hills, I understanably had a massive spin and wound up drivers left on the grass between the exit and the turn in for the righthander onto no-name.
Dave Lapham was behind me in his F500 and thankfully was aware of what was going on, slowed until the rotation slowed and my direction became clear.
I guess Dave was next in line and either was distracted by all the commotion or following Lapham closely and nailed Lapham straight in the rear doing substantial damage to both cars.
But, while I am very sorry my car broke and lost the wheel/tire in no way was there contact between Dave Scaler and any FF, but he did hit Lapham quite hard.
Glad all the drivers are ok.

Default Lime Rock National, Lost a wheel and walked away...

That could have been a real nasty one, lose a wheel and usually you're in for a few rolls and a courtesy ride to the nearest ER.Glad everyone's ok, that's all that really matters, cars can be repaired.
