OK, so far we have four drivers running on an "Other". Who's black donut will you guys be using?

I'm glad to see that we're heading toward a reasonably equal split between Avon, Goodyear, and Hoosier. Competition will improves the species.

Hi Randy, I was thinking the same thing. The only reasoning that I came up with is that all viewers of the site don't necessarily race an F2000. ...could be some kind of ITC or something running Kumho or Dunlop or whatever. Just a thought. If someone IS running an F2000 on some other brand, I'd definitely be curious to see what it is.

There is a tire that has been in developement for just over a year. It is in the final stages of comparison testing now. This tire has been designed specifically for F2000. It should be available for purchase in March 2001. I think it will be of great interest to all involved in our class. I will post additional information as it becomes available for release.

Guys, I hope it's not to late to vote. If not, Then I vote for the Avons, I've been driving formula cars for quite awhile now and I think the Avons are one of the most consistant tires I've ever run. I've noticed that you can get many heating cycles out of them before they start to go off. When they do start to fade, they don't just fall off the table like some other brands I've experienced. It's a very slow and shallow drop off. I also like the stiffer side wall, or should I say my car seems to respond to the stiffer sidewall better. They are a heavier tire than the Hoosiers or Goodyears, but I think it's a small price to pay for what I consider Better more consistant handleing.
