    Default One week out

A week from now both F1600 and F2000 will have done tested at VIR Thursday and be getting ready for their timed practice sessions before the initial races for each on Saturday April 14.
Strong fields, in spite of the current economy and gas prices and all, just about 30 in F1600 and just over 30 in F2000.
A new crop of sure to be fast and exciting youngsters to take on the established experienced drivers, everyone going to school on each other.
The first weekend is always interesting as a pecking order slowly emerges.
Huge diversity of chassis in both series add to the intrigue, come out and watch the racing !
The track may not show the event as a spectator show on their website which only means they are not going to spend to promote it but rest assured, anyone arriving at the gate can gain access for a few bucks.

    Mike,
I think you need to rework the weather, please.
I thought we're supposed to be going somewhere warmer.

Yeah, but I'm hoping for more than 5-10 degrees warmer, which has not been the case for VIR lately.
Loading up on Tuesday (43 degrees high with rain) should make for a nasty day.

Just shows you shouldn't be checking the temperture after 11:00 p.m.
Those of us sleeping in the paddock don't need a thermometer to know its darn cold.

Well, it's daytime, and still seems fairly cold here...

I thought you were at VIR, not Pocono.

It was a beautiful day. Clear sky means cool nights but sunny warm days. Very nice!
The boys in both classes are very well behaved.
