    Default Beaverun Double Driver's School

There's a Double Driver's School scheduled for BR on April 19th-22nd for those interested. It's not listed on the SCCA website, but is listed on the Beaverun
    website etc.

Thanks, Mark. I was thinking about doing the Summit Point school in March but I'll probably do the BR one since it is about 45 minutes from home. Is your son going to do the BR school also?

    Matt,

It depends if he has finals the following week at school? If not, we plan to
make the school instead of going to Gingerman in May. How's your car
    shaping up?

The car seems to be fine. All I've done so far is clean it up from the ride. I have a short punch-list started that will probably grow as I get more involved. At some point I need to drain the fuel cell, put some fresh fuel in it, charge the battery, and see if it makes good noises.

If you decide to do the BR school, you and your son are welcome to bed down at "The Love Shack".

Thanks Matt for the offer. I'll probably be driving him back to school each night
so he can study (Mt. Union) which is only an hour from the track. My cousins
live in alliance so maybe I'll see if I can stay with them...

You be the judge. We can set him up in the dining room or something like that if he needs a quieter study area.

Whatever works for you.....the offer is there.

There was some disagreement about whether this was going to be a one day or two day school but I got in touch with the folks from Steel Cities Region and it will be a two-day school with Friday night class and Saturday/Sunday track time. April 20-22.

    Matt,

Thanks for the news! The SCCA still doesn't have it listed on their website
    as a Driver's School?

NE Driver's School DA (Ed Z.) says he just found out about it this week......as long as there are people there when I (hopefully) show-up on Friday, I'm good! The forms for the school are supposed to be up on the Steel Cities Region website shortly, btw.

Other than Matt and my son, is anyone else planning on attending?

    Thanks!
