I´m looking for info on RF73-76 VANDIEMENS. Are there drawings and partslists available? What kind of Triumph parts are used and what rod ends?
Can I get this info from VANDIEMEN or is there another place I can go?

Thanks for the Help, BART

I've had great luck just sending an e-mail to Van Diemen (through their web site). Within days I got all kinds of info from them, free of charge. They're really nice to deal with.

I contacted VanDiemen yesterday, they where willing to help me but they had no information about the early cars. The advise from them was to contact Universal Racing Services. I called them and they where very friendly. They also have not much info on these cars but they gonne check the archieves. Great people!!!!!

Thanks for the help, BART

Bart:
You might also try contacting Ken Gordon at Essex Parts. They were the VD distributor, though perhaps after 1976. He is very knowledgeable.

I called Essex parts but they started importing Van Diemens begin 80´s. They gave me the number of someone else (Forgot his name) who imported the cars from 1975 but there is no info left from that era.

While I don't stock parts for 73/6 cars, I can provide most of the items that you might need.

Did you buy one of these that was for sale here: http://www.race-cars.com/carsales/va...55352927ss.htm Sounded like the person did a lot of research on the cars and etc. You may want to check with them.

I noticed them also. Found out that there is RF76 close to my home. Will ask the guy if he has some info or that I can make some pictures.

Is the suspension of a Lola T340 and T342 the same as from an early Van Diemen?

One could only wish. The rear is close to the 78-80 but the front, less the standard Triumph bits is VD.
