    Default legal rollbar

My ambition is to have my d13 to school by early next year. I have a concern about the roll bar. I am only five feet seven inches so the two inches to pass tech should not be a problem....but I am safety conscious and would lke to add to the top of the rollbar. Do I understand correctly that should I do the addition, I would no longer be legal?????

Depends on how you do it.

Do it per the GCR and you will still absolutely be legal.

Just welding an extension onto it and depending on the tech inspector you may not be.

If you just weld an extension on it will not be as good as doing it the right way and kind of defeat the purpose of raising it in the first place.
