Default Ryan Verra signs with TTM Racing

Ryan Verra signs with TTM Racing for the 2012 Formula 1000 Championship Series

Naples, FL (January 7, 2012) – TTM Racing announced today the signing of Canadian Ryan Verra as a driver for the team’s Formula 1000 Championship squad. Ryan will pilot the team’s Phoenix F1K-09, car# 5.

“We are very excited to sign Ryan on our team,” stated TTM boss Mike G. “We look forward to giving him all the tools to get on the podium in the Formula 1000 Championship Series.”

“I am very excited for the opportunity to race in the Formula 1000 Championship Series with TTM Racing,” said Verra. “I believe with such a high caliber team head by the experience of Mike G, and a very competitive car built by Phoenix Race Works, will allow me to put my driving to the test where the sign on the door of opportunity can only read “Push”. With such an array of strong, experienced and talented drivers on the roster, I can only look forward to learning from the best; as you can only learn from a better opponent.”

Ryan hails from Calgary, Alberta, Canada and is an entrepreneur in various business ventures and TV production. He started racing motocross at the age of 8 and won the Bridgestone Academy race at Mosport where he hopes to follow up with a win in Formula 1000.

TTM Racing is looking to run two Phoenix F1K-09’s in 2012.

The season kicks off on in May at Mosport Int’l Raceway in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada. For more information about the Formula 1000 Championship Series, visit: www.F1000champ.com

The team principal's surname is solely the letter 'G'???... very mysterious, very hip... since his driver has mastered the adjacent Bridgestone Racing Academy kart track, Mosport proper should be an absolute slice of cake...

We are actually getting two towards the end of this month and plan on starting to test in February. Ryan knows he has his work cut out for him against the veteran drivers of this class and that's its not going to be easy, but also understands that this is going to be a big learning year and wants to learn from the best. So give him some credit as he's at least going out there to do his best.
