It appears, as of August 12, 2010, the results pages of this excellent website are no longer available due to someone's illegal (in the UK at least) copying of a couple of pages and then posting them on Wikipedia. Allen Brown has requested that Wikipedia remove them but they have refused. An unfortunate situation that deprives all of us of his excellent and dedicated work. I would think Allen could be contacted directly and one might be able to get some gen on specific tub numbers.

The actions of a few so often screw it up for the rest of us.

Allen is a great guy and has put a ton of work into preserving, discovering, documenting and making available the history of many cars that no one else thought were important. It is very hard to find information on any of the lower classes of racing and I hate to see someone try to ride on the coat tails of the person that did the footwork. The problem and beauty of this internet age we live in is that it's so easy to find information that many younger people don't respect the time it takes to put this kind of information together and think if you can cut and paste it it's free. We all need to contribute what we remember and can find to people like Allen so that this history is preserved and available to all that seek it. It's a group effort.

Enough rant and sorry for side tracking your thread but I just couldn't keep my mouth shut...I'm done.

Gloy was the champion. 'Tis the reason he's trying to find his old cars.

Rogelio Rodriguez also drove one of the RT-1s in '80. Don't have any snaps of him on flickr yet.

    Default Forgot about this one....

Penske Jr. ran two races in one of Gloy's RT-1s in '80. Part of a deal with Tom getting into one of Penske's champ cars for a few races...3?....that year.
