    Default Jason Richards

A lot of people in this part of the world, indeed any who have followed the Aussie V8 Super car series, will be saddened with the news that Jason Richards passed away on Thursday after a 14 month battle with adrenocortical carcinoma a rare and very aggressive form of cancer.
While only 35, he was one of the nicest guys to meet in racing with a career that started in karting right through single seaters super tourers to his involvement in V8 super cars, he was a very talented driver and engineer, and had smile that just lit up all around him. and always saw the positive in anything, and I know that he would had a good fight with his cancer and if anybody was to beat it, it would have been him. I know for sure that his wife Charlotte and daughters Sienna and Olivia will miss him terribly, he was truly one in a million . RIP Jas

Didn't know him, and had never heard of him, but it is always sad to hear of someone going well before his. My condolences to his family and friends.

Solid driver, loved and will be missed by the V8 community and racing in general.
