The front is a monshock. The rear has two shocks. Yes it has the VW engine, which is what won the European F3 series this year.

Yes, I had an RT-5. Only the motors are not grenades like the RT-5's

Rod, Can you tell me how many hours you run the engine between rebuilds? As I recall, the idea was the car's would do a complete season between teardowns, but I have"nt been able to get any idea of how many race weekends that was. Thanks!

I have been told depending on the driver you can run from 15 to 25 weekends of hard racing. Check with your engine builder for a better idea. I am not an engine builder.

    Default Engine

I have owned one of these cars. They are a work of art. The engine that comes with it is low stressed. you may get around 1500 miles on it between rebuilds. Quicksilver built a nice stroked engine for me that is SCCA legal. If you buy this car you may want to check it out. If you have never seen a proper factory built race car, this is one.

Thanx for the info. I agree. This is the best engineered car I have ever owned. It truly is a piece of art. I hate to sell it.

It can run in the FA class, but would not be competitive under the current class rules. However, as has been pointed out, these are VERY cool cars, and depending upon your goals it could be a lot of fun to own and drive.

SCCA class is FS (Regional class only). It's probably not been homologated in FA, but Stan Clayton would know.

Oops - Rick just posted... maybe it is homologated in FA! It'll be down in HP and downforce in FA.

    Default Class

It runs in FA. Fully homologated. It doesn't have the aero of a Swift or a Ralt. It does have a lot more torque than a 4age though.

    Default Spares

I'm not sure what Rod is including in the car. They are very easy to get spares for. They are one of the most most popular Formula car chassis in Europe.
