    Default DB-6 bellhousing question

I'm about to send my DB-6 bellhousing to J&J to have it repaired right, but I don't know what I should do about an extra AN-8 male fitting that was welded to it. Will this interfere with anything in the Honda installation? Can I leave it in place and make use of it?

I can send a picture later this week once I'm in the same timezone as my DB6...

Neil, I will check tomorrow afternoon when I get to the shop, but I don't think it will interfere with anything. As far as using it, I don't think so because the oil return is from the other side. The stock oil return on the same size as your extra fitting gets blocked off and the one on the other side gets plugged and is used as a mounting point for the adapter ( the plug is tapped ).

    Default maybe, maybe not

Neil, Just checked and it would be very close and kind of hard to tell. There is a flange from the head that might be real close. If you dont have plans on using it again for a Ford, I would have it removed. Dont really know why it was needed with the Ford, but that is beside the point.

Thanks for the responses. HPD concurs, so I'm having it removed.
