Craig I WILL BE THERE!!!!!!!!!! My car is finally done and I will pick it up on Sat. Looking forward to running with VARA for the first time. BTW I have been getting a lot of call from guys interested in running in the "97 and older class". Several guys will be in the market for for cars if this class comes together.

Just a reminder, our Golden State Classic benefiting the City of Hope National Medical Center at California Speedway, race weekend is August 1-3. This will be a full weekend of racing.

The cost to enter the event is $250. As a special bonus, Friday, August 1 will be our "Test and Tune Day". To participate in this day, the cost will $50. No timing and scoring will be available this day. You must be entered in the weekend event to have access for the Friday, Test and Tune day.

Saturday will feature a practice session and qualifing. Sunday will start with a warm-up session then our flag races.

Garages will be available for rental as well. Both Saturday and Sunday will have noon-time track arounds for $20 per car. This is a controled drive to show your family and friends the famous California Speedway long road course.

Pit row suites are also be available for rental during the weekend. The rental cost of a suite is $1000, which includes 24 event passes and and 12 VIP parking passes. All suites are airconditoned, along pit row and offer roof top viewing of the entire racing facilty.

Gate entry fee is $10.

Dust off that Club Ford or Vintage FF and join us for a weekend of fun racing at California Speedway at a great price!
