Default Wicker glue for Bell Helmets

I got a new SA2010 Bell GP2 helmet earlier this year. I'm just having it painted so I removed the forehead "scoop" and cleaned the helmet. Anyone know where I can get the appropriate two sided tape that Bell uses to put it back on (without buying another one for $29 + S&H to get just the tape)?

While I'm at it, I was removing the HANS posts that are predrilled. One came off just fine. I must have tightened the other a little too much to get the alignment correct and I think I'm spinning the threaded sleeve in the helmet and it won't come off. Ideas?

VHB tape would work very well for reattachment. It sure looks like VHB.

The guys at Indocil Art in Rock Hill SC have all that stuff to hold the helmets together and can probably hook you up with the tape without you having to buy a whole new kit.

It's 3M Clear Mounting Tape. You can find it at Menards or other home improvement box stores. Cut it by hands to .25" wide and apply. Same stuff that Bell uses.
