    Default Opinions on 1994 Phantom

    Hello,

I am new to the F500 world and have been doing a lot of research this past week. I am looking to purchase a F500 but don't really see anything in my price range available in my area (Pittsburgh PA). I found a 1994 Phantom for sale in Florida that looks to be well kept up but probably overpriced from what I have found in my research.

I just wanted to get some opinions on what you guys think about it. Is Phantom a good chassis? Would it still be competitive and meet all the SCCA safety requirements for RR? Would I be able to find parts for it still? It has been on the market for quite some time, is it just the price that has kept it out there or are Phantoms just not that great? Thanks in advance; I have learned so much already from all of you. Also, anyone in the Pittburgh area out there?

    Thanks,
    Mike

The seller is not real specific about his upgrades so the price might be a little high. Make sure that you get a complete list of everything included in the deal (trailer? spares?). I would crew for someone for awhile so that you can get up close experience and ask a lot of questions from this. This car in stock form did not have the best technology. Learn more.
