We're now 45 minutes into registration being open and there are only 5 F1000s registered. Let's make this the year that we beat the 2007 ARRC entry record!
Be there or be square.

Hey, when did Brian Novak buy a Piper F1000? Is this the Piper that Justin drove and made its way to Michigan?
Ken
Yes, Brian & I have the Piper that Justin drove for Don Sievenpiper. We are working with Don to continue the development of this car.
Thanks ... Jay Novak
Great. There was a rumor that someone made an FS with a Hyabusa out of it. Glad to hear it stayed FB.
Ken
Cat's outta the bag now, Novak(s)!
Can't wait to see you guys (and what you have done with that car) in June.
-GC
Wish we could be there. We'll be concentrating on Mid Ohio and Palm Beach in June.

i wish i was qualified to drive an FB car, next year i want jump the fence
I just noticed that JR dropped from the Sprints? Just curious whats up? why are the numbers so low?
For anyone west coast or central its an expensive tow and time away from family and work.
I gather few FB competitors are actually after the triple crown award. I gather most of all competitors are weekend warrior types who own FB cars.. which means month to month there attendance to an event can fluctuate based on so many factors.. I doubt to many people really have a set schedule prior to the year of racing and that they alter and change there non racing lives to revolve purely around racing..
in regards to the central and west coast with the most FB's showing at a track at once being due to the pro series and following scca nationals it is keeping most of them (aside from russ) in spending there money on a long tow to run with a small crowd when on the west coast they can run in large groups of 10 or so cars on a regular basis.
Russ go kick some ass at the sprints !!
I suspect the sprints would be a good place to warm up and practice for the runoffs if people are intending to go.. which I think this year should yield a good turnout.
THe east coast FB crowd seems to be so spread out all running select events scattered at so many different nationals. you would think the sprints would bring alot of east coasters together.. but there seems to be only 5 entered so far.
I know JR is towing around with dave palmer running the west coast pro series.. as well as getting points for the runoffs.. being that the 3rd round of the pro series is in seattle end of the month I am sure logistically it doesnt work to get his car the the sprints as well as the next pro race weekend is end of june.
sure will be exciting to see how all the chassis perform as many of the drivers are very fast.
Yeah, Nick pretty much summed it up. It was either run the 2 western events or just the June Sprints. At $4.00+ diesel, it's more time and money than is possible to do everything in such a short time span.
We will continue to plod along out west and see you "right" coasters at the Runoffs.
Take Care,
J.R.O
I don't want to hijack this thread but J.R. did you get the BMW sorted at Portland and will you be running it at Pacific Raceways?
Still working on getting the electronics to be car friendly. It's just taking a lot more time than expected, typical with something new.
Maybe by Portland, definitely by Miller.
J.R.O
Good luck everyone!! Wish we could join you. Good racing!
I guess I understand the money thing with going to the sprints, but what about getting a good setup for the RUN-ONs? Does everyone who is attending the Run-ons feel that they already have the perfect setup to win? Six FB's at the sprints seems pretty lame, there has to be a few more who are going to attend.

Time for the peer pressure:
Anybody on the fence about attending?
Jeremy?
Beattie?
Bueller, Bueller?

We're trying to get the car ready in time with our new Pro-Shift system and AiM data system so that we can attend with Robbie Pecorari driving.
That's about three days worth of work, we'll see ya there.
McLaughlin stepped up and is now entered. That's 6.

This is going to be one heck of a race. Factor in the FF and FE traffic anything could happen.
We're up to 8 with the addition of Charles Dempsey! Might be one or two more...

We will unfortunately not be able to make the June Sprints. We were going to share transport with a couple other teams that cannot make it due to damage at Sebring and they are waiting for parts and our new Pro-Shift system and AiM data system are being installed as well and we're going to take this time to really go through the car.
It looks like a great time and I'll miss sampling the Mystt!!!
We'll be at the Glen in July and ready to rock.
Good luck to Charles! He's driving a brand spanking new 2011 Stohr F1000. His car is my car's younger brother, painted the same color. It is stunning!! And we arent telling the paint code!
Go Doc!
Good luck to all!
