Is there anyone with the 'raised nose' willing to take a few photos of this on the car?

- How do they mount to the chassis bulkhead?
- Can I presume one set holes are for the crush box and the other are for mounting the nose piece?

My cars all loaded in the trailer but here's how they mount.
The brackets mount to the frame in the orientation you have in the Pix. That would be the way the right side upper and lower brackets would mount. There ARE 2 Left's and 2 right's.
The Allen head bolts that mount them to the front of the frame go thru the holes in the right of the Pix.
The countersunk holes are for the van Diemen crush box. The 4 ears of the crush box fit Inside these brackets.
The threaded holes are for the allen head bolts that mount the Nose to these brackets.
As the Van Diemen frame and body parts can have a lot of,ahh. "Production Variables" you may have to put some thin washers between these brackets and the frame to get the right clearence for your combination of parts.
If you are buying a New never mounted nose try to get one without the 4 mounting holes pre drilled. That makes locating them for your "Application" a lot easier.
You need to have all the related parts on the car at the same time to Juggle the clearences. That includes Body side panels,cockpit cowl,shock cover and nose. (ask me how I know)
Darrel;
As I visited with Bill Stephens, I am trying to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear with an RF-94/95: RSF's raised nose, Pennon's Polecat diffuser and Rennie Clayton's Aero package.
- Are the mounting holes in the chassis bulkhead prepared? Say, CrMo inserts welded and ground flush at both fore and aft bulkhead surfaces with an ID to accommodate the block mounting bolt?
- What is the vertical separation between the nose piece mounting holes, center to center?

As you maybe aware, I'm rebuilding my car. Anyone have four (4) spare mounting blocks as pictured in the initial post?
