[FONT=Calibri]The new formal name for the F1K Series is now Formula 1000 Grand Prix Series. “Grand Prix (French for the words Great Prize) is fitting of the Series,” claimed F1K’s Jon Lewis. “The F1K Series offers a great prize to its Champion. The words Grand Prix also envision the overall atmosphere of the Series, with standing starts and other aspects associated with Grand Prix style events.”[/FONT]

[FONT=Calibri]Grand Prix relates to the style of racing associated with the F1K Series with more elite open rules and not just a “spec” style Series.[/FONT]
