    Default Aerodynamics

Just thought I'd post a couple photos of one of our aero tweaks. We've been busy designing and building numerous devices to direct air flow and decrease drag. In addition we have designed other air flow directives and a complete newly designed front & rear wing configuration that increases downforce while reducing drag.

One thing I really like about this class is the ability to be innovative.

Can't wait to get her out on track with all the other F1000's. Really looking forward to meeting everyone.

Let's hope it works as good as it looks!

Thanks. It is designed to work with a few bits behind it (not shown) to direct air around the rear tires and between the tires and bodywork across the top of the diffuser.

Interesting stuff! Can you tell us a little about the design and test process? CFD? Wind tunnel? On-track testing? Just wondering how you have chosen to predict and/or verify the effectiveness of your modifications. Thanks.

Our designs and process are proprietary, but the real test always comes out on track. Only then can we know for sure. Just look at Virgin and McLaren. Not all designs no matter how achieved bring the results they show on paper. All I can guarantee is that it won't be any worse....at least I hope not.....LOL

You can't say if you used CFD/wind tunnel or not? I think everyone already knows about CFD, I don't think it's proprietary anymore
