    Default Finally -- Success

We finally got the car out to HPR in CO this weekend and had a very trouble-free day with the engine package. I have no interest in picking a fight, but Richard at Rilltech did some dyno troubleshooting earlier this winter and it did the trick. He was also out at the track with a customer and stopped by to offer support if necessary. I was appreciated, but not necessary. He had fixed it in his shop. JR was also out on a cool, windy day with the Stohr tricked out with all sorts of whizzy bits. Sorry, but the camera was out of juice, so no good pics. We found a few little things that needed to be "fixed" realted to our shifting arrangement. All in all, it was a great experience. It's taken a long time, but we will finally run a race at the end of April when the crew and driver come back from various points across the globe. Thanks again to everyone on the site for their feedback and advice, Front Range Motorsports, Dave Tourtelot and especially for my dad. He does the work and I get to have the fun. My cheeks still hurt form all the smiling I was doing under my helmet.

Good looking car. I'm sure you already know, but Philip Creighton Motorsports is a good source for Tatuus.

Have a great time with your car. Will you be running any east coast nationals? Don't forget to register for the Mystt F1000 National Championship!

    Default Lookin' good

OK, 1 little pic - you are off the hook until the weekend.
THEN you will be expected to have detailed, up close pics under the bodywork!

Wow, so this fairly new class has how many different chassis now?

    Coop,

Add another 1995 Van diemen conversion (Robinson) with alot of work this weekend it may just roar to life as an infant. Much work to do but getting closer. We are trying to get it on the track prior to Memorial Day.

Got any pics of that Swift coversion? I'd like to see that for sure. Is this a DB3, SE3 or DB6....not sure why someone would want to convert a DB6 but I'll bet it would be a rocket.

I need to see if Roger is ready to release spy photo's yet ,,, for those of you with long memories , this was Bill Johnsons dsr from Kansas City . He was one of the first to cut up a Swift f2000 [maybe the only one ] , to make a dsr. We hope it will be a screamer , if not it will be a looker... more to come.....bob
