What happened to it last year? I don't recall hearing or reading anything of a summary of the seasons final point standings or winner. Did the program die after the first couple of races or was it not forwarded to this forum and just held to its participants?

The Series went on as planned last season. We had 9 or 10 cars at T-Hill and I believe that Portland and Seattle had almost as many.

Hope they add Miller as a venue for this season, super nice facitily for those that have not been there.

I think Belling had a lock on the series title.....but I think JR may have been in the hunt as well.

I actually won a set of tires in this series......nice touch.

Everything from last season 2010 was posted on the F1000 Pro Series website including race reports and final standings all the way through the final event.

The series last year overreached a little bit and that caused some issues with supporting some of the venues and getting some of the information on the series out. It was the first season for the series so there was bound to be some of those issues.

This year has been very well planned out in advance and will be much better supported.

When the website goes back up in a couple of days all the race reports and information from last year will be carried over.

We did have some races last year with very good turn out. We've also been asked directly by some SCCA race organizers to bring the series to their event this year. So the series has had overall a very positive response even through its first year issues.

We have had quite of few people contact us, some from clear across the on the other side of the world wanting to know how to get into the series. So even with the very limited press it did have last year it's been seen worldwide. So the signs have been very encouraging.

With the the expanded press this year (more news outlets will publish both our press releases and race reports) it will be even better for all of those involved in the series; the sponsors, the drivers, and all the manufacturers that are supporting the series.

I will be sending emails out soon to all the drivers that registered in the series last year giving them a preview of what to expect just prior to the press release.

We are looking forward to having a great year.

If the Pro F1000 series raced in Seattle, it had to be a part of the Double National which had 5 FB's in attendance. I was there all 3 days and was not aware that the 5 FB's were having a race within the race.

The Double in 2011 is the traditional May 28 to May 30 but, it's not a Double National this year. Rather a Double Rational. LOL Need to get ahold of Sherri Masterson.

The additional press coverage that we'll have this year should address all the promotional issues we had last year.

Last year we just didn't have enough people to help us promote the series and it wasn't until very late in the season that we were even able to get it fully off the ground. It basically suffered throughout the year from a lack of self-promotion. That's because last year it was meant to be something of an exploratory year. To see what response we would get by putting the series on.

This year is much different. The response from all involved last year and from those that weren't involved and want to be has been extremely positive. That is why it is back the year better organized and with 3 very good title sponsors and numerous partner sponsors involved.

Because this series is structured as a actual championship would be structured, with qualifying rounds, separate trophies and prizes, and an actual prize giving ceremony at the track, it requires much more structure that just having people sign up. It was a task we underestimated last year. This year all those issues have been addressed and we should be able to put on a much improved show this year.

We're looking forward to putting on a great race series this year.

ANY race group or organization needs to look at the PRO 3 guys for a study in how to do it. They've self promoted and built an organization from nothing to having 50 car grids in just a few short years of focused effort. That includes involvement with the general public and doing charity work.
