1990 rf90 van diemen


Purchased the car from a Canadian in 2008 and poured a considerable amount of money in the car to bring it up to performance and safety standards. The car was only ever used for autox duty and comes with the original log book. Anything suspect was replaced including an upright, brake line, fuel cell, and belts.


Auriga engine


Carb Rebuilt by Ivey


Throttle Linkage all rebuilt


Pertronix Electronic Ignition Installed


AN fitting fuel pump


Motorcycle fan installed in one radiator (for autox)


Brand new fuel cell installed ($$)


OE Bilsteins... not penskes shown

OE Van Diemen Spider Bracing and Rear Rockers... not EFM shown

All calipers rebuilt and Hawk Autox Pads installed (original pads… I believe hawk blue are included)


Panasport ultralight rims with low heat cycle'd r35a's


Master Cylinders rebuilt


New throwout bearing installed


Nearly every spherical was replaced on the car with Auroras


Stack Dash


Shift Linkage joints replaced with helicopter joints


Gears: Integral 1st 13:37 17:34 17:28 19:27 23:27 18:27 R&P 9:31

LD200 alignment tool

As it sits right now the car is 100% turn key.





























I am selling the car because I'm looking at moving to a different kind of formula car, mainly something with a bigger footbox or ability to go to a 2 pedal setup w/ hand clutch (m/c power).

Forgot to mention that the car also has a new elliptical quick release and steering shaft/steering bushing. Pretty happy with the amount of play in the wheel.

The stack dash also comes with its IR transponders for split and lap times.

I am now listing the dampers and rear cnc'd bracing separately.

The car hasn't been driven (except started to avoid moisture buildup) at all since last season. It's a massive shame but I am just too busy with my degree.

I will sell this car for $9,999 with oe bilsteins and van diemen spider bracing/rockers.

Thx Jon... I think I'm kind of wiggling around in the seat and I think I'm adjusting my helmet in that photo... with that said I am 6'3" and had to make an aggressive bead seat to pass the broom test.

Got most of the details worked out on the VD including mounting a muffler and corner weighting plus alignment. It is ready for its debut this Sunday on new Hoosiers.
