I like that, a center of gravity penalty.

Would'nt ex-lax for Finelli equal a death sentence?
Charles the ICP calipers suck green donkey d**ks,stay very far away ,one of the worst after market parts i have ever dealt with! ever!, lets face it your car is pretty damn light as it is, that means the weight needs to come off your over abundant backside dude, sorry to be so diplomatic about it but the truth sometimes hurts
I know I could lose some weight but that would mean no more scotch.
BUT
I think the reason all the people in open wheel are little people is because only little people do well in karting. That may be why open wheel is dying.
ALL
the men go into GT's
Intensity personified.

charles,
Scotch is low in carbs, buy a GT and lets get started with Cole as your test driver. With Ex-Lax as a sponsor of course.
Lets start with 24hrs of Daytona
Charles,
I tried to find an image of a car in the files that would fit the bill for you and Cole. It needed to be yellow, number 83, and afford no penalty for full figured driver...
best i could do...

I used to tech with a guy from the Ft Wayne region named Phil Curran (believe it or not there are TWO Phil Currins that run GTs, but spelled differently). He was one big boy - brakeman on the railroad.
He was about 6'4, 300lbs. I asked him what he took his driver's school in. The answer - Big Block Corvette!
I got my 1994VD down to 983lb dry, I'm 220 nekkid, so with residual fuel and gear I'm ~1230lbs. Have light flywheel, ICPs, aluminum floor, aluminum valve cover, C&R rads. Could probably drop several more pounds with thinner kevlar bodywork with no gel-coat, aluminum oil pan, mag valve cover, and another mag upright (car has 3 mag uprights and one front AL upright). The painters all use heavy buildup primer now anyway, so who needs gel coat to crack? Conversion to smaller ID shocks and springs would probably save a bunch (and cost a bunch).
I'm thinking the series needs a Heavyweight class, like they do in karts. End of year prize - a year membership with Jenny Craig.
Ron
what about helium for the tires?
You are right when you say that I am genetically a Clydsdale and I am trying to play with tiny greyhounds.
Football players and Ballerinas.
Charles,
You get the car and $. I'll get you Cole and another young hot shoe. I'll also get you all the crew you need for 24hr. You run one early stint and retire to the drivers lounge.
As one who worked diligently to verify that Zebra's very impressive lap times at Watkins Glen were indeed above board in spite of a certain weight handicap... i must say life at the track is always much more colorful when the Fat Boys are in attendence. Charles being the persuasive courtroom lawyer that he is, argues the Series should actually fund his presence...arguing that he is the defacto series social director. Let's not go that far. But without him, it would be sort of like... the Road to Omaha.
Proof that he is indeed light on his feet:

And just before that it was 1170 lb.
FWIW, my Citation now has ~50 lb of extra weight attached to make the 2010 F2KCS 1220-lb min (I weigh ~170 with driver's gear). It all could be removed if the minimum were lowered to that old 1170-lb value. With lighter tires, I could easily get down lower than that.
I know this won't happen, but I can wish...

Charles,
I believe Dave W. who is an obviously respected Fc driver thinks your probably just fat. Not that I would say that.
you wouldn't Jim but i sure would in fact i just did!
OK Charles, you win.
For 2011 the F2000 Championship Series will have no official MAXIMUM WEIGHT RULE, so drink up, pack it on bub.......
Brendan ,
please clarify for us if it's the battery thats a pain in the ass or Charles himself?
Thanks Frog for the Fat Boy plug.
The Fat Boys love ya
If charles would stop drinking(slowly), exercise, and actually pay someone to prep his car he would be at the front of the field. Sorry, just hate to see wasted talent.
2012 should be a good year.
Lil Fat Boy please call. We miss you
I got dq'ed for being 1196lbs NHIS. I weigh a Duece/205 with my gear on. I own Chris Burke's old car. It's doable.
Charles:
Get an enclosed trailer first. I'm sure the roadkill fly's off the hood of your flatbed lands in the car out back. You'll probably loose 25lbs by power washing the road kill off your chassis.
Jimmy
Other than maybe an air drop, it would be hard to top Zebra's method of delivering his race car to the paddock during the INDY weekend at WGI.
