    What's the proccedure on bleeding the clutch system on a 98VD?

    1. Fill the resivour (sp?) with brake fluid.
    2. Open up the bleeder screw in the bellhousing.
    3. Prsss down the clutch pedal. Fluid should come out the open screw.
    4. Close the screw.
    5. Let up the pedal.
    6. Repeat 1-6 until the clutch pedal is firm & no air comes out the screw.

    Looking at my 98, there appears to be two bleeder screws in the back. I would think that you would bleed through the one on the car's left side, when no more air comes out, move on to the right side.

    Hope that is what you were looking for.
