Default "Big" guy on a Swift DB4?

Can a guy who is 6'3" tall and 210 pounds, with a 38" waist and shoulders that fit in a 44 Tall suit size... fit in a Swift DB4?

My feeling is no but all input is appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Daniel

Start shopping for a Swift 008, the DB4 can barely fit a 6-0, 175 pound driver, shoulder area is the main problem and un- modifiable.

I agree with Paddy. I am 6'1", 180 lbs., and I just barely "fit" in a DB4. There is no room behind my neck for a HNR, and my shins are jammed up under the steering rack. You would most likely be better off with 008,014, 016, RT-40, or RT-41.

You might also consider 92-93 Reynard's. Very spacious, and I happen to have one that is available. Jack Crone (951) 283-2146

More info: I'm 5'9", 173 lbs & wear a size 34 jeans & couldn't fit in a DB4 because my hip bones wouldn't fit down into the bottom seat area between the aluminum side rails at the bottom.

I'm pretty much your size and fit in my 93H with no problem.

    EVEN MORE INFO:
    I have measured a swift 008,swift 014 and a Ralt RT41,
at the widest part of the tub in the area of the shoulders,
towards the back by the seat and I can tell you that the 008
and 014 are exactly the same width.
The RT41 is 2 inches wider.
It just so happens that my RT41 is for sale and that would be a perfect fit.

I am 5-10, 188 and have no problem fitting in my DB-4. I have a skinny little butt. There is room in the shoulder area, but as you start getting taller, you start running out of room.

Forget the DB4.......Do not buy ANY car until you sit in it.........The 40 tub is more spacious than the 41.......very small cockpit opening and footbox on the 41....I can't speak to the oo8/014.

    Good luck,
    Bill

    Daniel,

Check the classifieds here and see if Bernie's Ralt RT-41 is still available. If so....it is a good deal on the right car.

Pretty sure I saw that car running out of the Lindstrand Motorsports shop with Duncan at the wheel.
