Looks like it has great conversion potential

"Wait, which one is the gas pedal again?"
83 is Central Florida Region. I do not recognize the car.
No clue, but it has some elements that are Adams-like.

I cannot find the thread but that car was discussed here previously. Some guy was looking for a vintage FV and found it on craigslist or local advertising.
I thought the bodywork was pretty cool.
I wondered if it was a reworked Hammerhead .... but its not. Certainly has that homebuilt vibe to it.

Plan is for a fst conversion. Just wanted to make a quick check before I hit it with the torch.
The bottom of the frame looks quite well done. The top part looks like its been rebuilt a few times. I like the body as well but I'm sure it won't fit once I do.
I've seen this car on the samba and thought the body work was pretty cool too. I think it's a one off somewhat copy of a caracal and something else. The bottom rails are not big enough to be caracal and the hoop is not, but it is about the same width, the exhaust looks like Caracal C/D. Good luck with the conversion!

Here is the other thread on this car. I did a conversion on a garage queen three years ago.
