    Default Pro FE

I'm planning on running the "Pro" FE event at Miller in June. To those of you have run the recent Pro event, I'm curious as to what to expect with tech, track sessions, etc. Anyone care to comment?

Tech-They took the top 5 to impound and basically checked about as much as they would at the June Sprints-Weight, wings, tires, ecu, etc...

Track Sessions-NJ will have 9-30 minute sessions over 3 days. Plan on having 2-4 sessions a day depending on other classes there. No full course cautions in the races and I don't recall any red or black flag alls in any sessions. FE's are by themselves which provide much more open track and no super slow cars etc..

Podium celebrations, June Sprints level of prize money/contingencies etc...

My experience at the races was all positive. The registration was easy and quick and I only had to go once to sign in for eveything (testing and races). Pre-race tech was easy, they did a roaming tech so they came around to us which was nice (no waiting in lines). What really struck me though was the level of competition. The times in qualifying got down to mid 24's which if youve driven an FE at Road Atlanta you know is crazy fast. For the most part i saw smart, clean driving from everyone (few yellows, no reds or blacks). Can't wait for round 3!

    SCCA Pro Schedule for NJMP

    http://www.sccatrans-am.com/wp/conte...erseyschv2.pdf

I'm going to assume that all the weekends will be essentially the same.

3 sessions per day for FE. P Q and Race.

Friday's will be promoter test days with 3-4 sessions as well I'm assuming.

BTW Matt, nice 2nd place on Sunday.
