Default WTB: Modified Honda CBR600RR Wiring Harness

I am hoping that ya'll can provide a vendor source for wiring harnesses already modified for cars. Need one asap for the F600 that we are trying to finish.

    TIA,
    Jim

For all of you potential F600 builders, tap into the micro sprint world for all of your 600 motor needs and questions. Those guys have been into 600s for almost 20 years and have lots of experience and products that may interest you. One good web site is microoutlaws.com. One more thing....16,000 rpm 600s blowup like popcorn when subjected to the stress of race car applications...take atleast a spare to each event or be prepared to sit out from time to time

    Good Luck!

We are going to do everything in our power to keep these MC motors from popping. There are several items in the proposed ruleset just for this concern:
    1. Stock motor except for upgraded connecting rod bolts and timing chain tensioner.
    2. Wet sump but with open modifications/baffling to the oil pan.
    3. Remote oil cooler/filter.
If something bad becomes apparent we will address it then.

Go to the ASCS2Racing.com and look at the non wing rules. Those motors are stock on alcohol and only run WO for about 3-4 minutes per feature event. You guys are going to run them on gas and it is hard to keep the piston, rings and cylinder walls cool enough to promote longevity. Don't kid yourself into thinking that the micro sprint community has issues because of lack of resources or financial ability. Those guys burn through cash on their engine programs at an astonishing rate. The ONLY way to make these little screamers live is to implement intake restrictors and rev limiters for the duration of the class. Not just to try to create parity with the 2 stroke power plants. These things may live at 14,500 and put out decent power if you allow the cam timing to be changed. Make sure to use the best clutches(non slipper) that money can by. When the clutches start to burn up they begin depositing micoscopic particles of carbon fiber and kevlar into the oiling system. Yep! the same oiling system used to keep the bearings off of the crank.

    Again, Good luck
