what is the "dry" weight of the trailer - wondering if it is realistic to put 3,000lbs in it and be able to tow with my non-diesel Suburban.

    Thanks,

    Pen

need a lot more information than "non-diesel" - model year, 1500 or 2500, what engine, what diff ratio, 2wd or 4wd, how much stuff and passengers do you carry in the Sub?

The empty weight, with those nice cupboards and a spare tire. is going to be 4600 lbs anyway. So figure 7600 lbs with your load., and 800 lbs of tongue weight anyway. More if you actually put a lot of stuff in the cupboards at the front, or put a gennie in. That's at the top end of what most Suburbans can handle.

Just to clarify, the 7.5' on this unit would be the interior height NOT the width. The actual trailer would be a Pace American Shadow GT 8.5x26. The most popular axle combination would be TA3 tandem 5000# axles for a 10k GVWR, but this is purely a guess on what this unit may be equipped w/.

If it does have TA3 axles the estimated cargo capacity w/ the limited info listed would be approx. 5200#, w/ a curb weight of 4800#.
