I can't join you at LRP this year, but really want to get back there someday. Before I moved south ten years ago I spent a lot of time there and really miss it. If you do in- car video for this upcoming race, I'll look forward to watching it.
Have fun and good luck.

No video yet Russ. Maybe next year.
One other F1000 is signed up - Ron Ignatowski.
Hey Rob,
Nice run with the new lap record - 50.9!
Chris C.
Thanks Chris. It started to all come back together. I walked the track Friday night after the rain let up. At the start, I let everybody by me and was dead last (25th) out of Big Bend. I wanted to attack the track with a fresh perspective with minimal distractions. It really helped. That was the 8th heat cycle on those Hoosiers... I wanted to see how the car responded on old tires. So there's probably another couple seconds to be gained. Not bad I guess going from 25th to 12th with no yellows.
Congrats on your win too. Fahan broke the FC record, but I think he was held up by a slow Atlantic Zetec.
Some pics of the FB's
Thanks, Dennis. Great pictures.
That's a ballsy pass of that Atlantic, Rob! You must've been hooked up! :-).

Russ was being facetious Chris! I let Paul in there on the inside, probably his second time around me.
Nice pictures Dennis. Thank you.
I'd just print the picture. hang it on the wall, and TELL everybody how I used to blow by Atlantics on the outside...it's a much cooler story and chicks dig that!
Here's another picture of an FB car/driver kicking ass with and outside pass:

I like how Rob is casually looking over at the car being passed, as if saying, "That all you got?" :-)
